Dry July is about clearing your head and making a positive difference to adult cancer patients at the Canberra Hospital. All you have to do is sign up to a month off alcohol and ask friends and family to sponsor your efforts! And if it all sounds a little impossible, don’t forget that you can purchase a golden ticket for a minimum of $25 for a well deserved night off.
All funds raised in Canberra will go towards improving patient care at the Canberra Hospital. Last year nearly $88,000 was raised which was a fantastic effort by the ACT. Funds in the past have been used to refurbish areas such as palliative care rooms to make them more comfortable for patients and their families.
