The Canberra Hospital Foundation would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended the Canberra Hospital Foundation Ball on Saturday 23 June in support of the Capital Region Cancer Service. The evening was a great success with over 300 people attending to show their support.
Guests were treated to a delicious three course meal and endless entertainment. Canberra’s ConneXion Big Band were a huge hit and had everyone up on the dance floor. The Canberra Swing Katz gave everybody some dancing ideas through a fantastic swing dance demonstration. Guests had a blast using the photobooths complete with hilarious props as a way to capture the evening and electronic copies of these photos will be available for purchase for $5 from the Canberra Hospital Foundation. There were also a number of fantastic prizes on offer throughout the evening. The lucky winners of the Canberra Hospital Foundation Raffle were:

The lucky winner of the Champagne Diamond Raffle was Bridget Stanton. Bridget won a gorgeous champagne diamond complete with a $500 voucher for its setting.

Chief Minister Katy Gallagher kindly launched Dry July along with co-founders Phil Grove and Brett Macdonald. Dry July is a fundraising initiative that aims to create better environments and support networks for adult cancer patients and their families. Click here to read more.
